Traveling to a
friends home in West Virginia, we decided to stop in the Winchester, VA area.
From it's web site we picked Candy Hill campground. Arriving close to
dark, we did not know what to expect having never been there, or having any recommendations.
Check in was a breeze, with everyone being friendly, they even had a treat for
our dog! The campground was extremely well maintained with an excellent
shower house. We were assigned site C-6 and after registration they led
us to the site in a golf cart, helping us into the site and advising us about
the features of the campground.
For a one night
stay, it was perfect!!
