Comments:

This was our sixth  trip to Tuckahoe due to it being close for quick weekend trips.  On our last trip I complained about it being HOT!  Well this time it got up to about 70 in the daylight and dropped into the 40's at night.

If you have read all of our camping logs you will remember that the on the last trip to Tuckahoe we acquired a new addition to the family. Well, this time we saw another cat living in the campground but it was just a little too shy to allow us to get close.

As this was a Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday trip we were the ONLY campers in the park. I am still amazed that more people don't enjoy the parks that the state provides.  For $18 a night you can't beat what you get.

Handicapped Availability:

None noted.  All sites are gravel/dirt and are not level leading to the road. The bath house is in the middle of the campground with uneven dirt paths leading up to it from all but 1 side.  On this side it is the access road for service vehicles, but would probably suffice for a wheelchair.  Sites 4, 6 & 7 are the closest to this road.
