This
was our second shakedown trip in the new camper. Everything worked
fine. We were able to use the weekend hiking around the campground
looking at the "normal" pet loops. During the winter months,
Elk Neck takes a loop which does not normally allow pets and uses it for
everyone. The normal pet loops leave something to be desired as the
sites are close together with little cover. It looks like this will be
an early/late season campground for us.
Handicapped Availability:
Several sites
nearest the bath house are equipped with full cement level slabs, picnic
tables with space for a wheelchair, and cement paths to the bath house.
