Comments: 

Well, the trip home from the 2003 East Coast Pop Up Rally required a stop in North Carolina to visit relatives.  The closest campground I could find was this KOA.
 
The campground was extremely well maintained.  For those traveling through this location would be great.  All sites are pull through, but are in an "open field" configuration (see photo below) .  Apparently their customer base is Class As and 5th Wheels traveling through... The place filled up each night and cleared out each morning.
 
While not modern by any stretch of the imagination, the bath house was clean.
 
For a one night stay, it was perfect!!
