Comments:
Looking for
another campground close to home we decided to try Fort Mountain. We
left the house at 5:00 and were at the campsite at 6:30.
Fort Mountain is
a nice campground with Water, electric and cable at the sites. 70 sites
in two camping loops provide sites of all sizes. Clean comfort stations
are in both loops.
The understory is
minimal, so privacy between some sites is only so so.
The campground is
open year-round.
Handicapped Availability:
Handicapped sites
are available and the bath houses are compliant. Hills in the roads may
make it difficult to use a wheelchair around the loops.
