Comments:
OK, this is try
#2 at dry camping in the national forest. Due to the bumper problem on the
last trip here, we looked for a new camping spot. Found a nice level
campsite about 1/2 mile past the north river bridge on FR 95. The site
was a mess from previous campers (actually kids I think) and it took a while
to clean up. We got our water from the hand pump at the North River
Campground (about 3 miles away) and used about 28 gallons over the
weekend. We tried out the shower on this trip as you can tell from the
water consumption.
GPS: Didn't get a
GPS reading this trip (Oops!)
Handicapped Availability:
None. This
area is for dispersed camping in the forest. Holes, roots, rocks and
other objects are the norm.
