Comments:
  This is still one of
the nicest parks we have visited.

  The park has over
a hundred sites divided up into individual loops with a bathhouse for
each.  As this was Memorial Day Weekend, the bathhouse was as clean as
can be expected, with plenty of hot water, but I noted that
there was no heat or air conditioning, just open screen windows.
In  hot or cold weather some may find them uncomfortable.

  The weather was
beautiful!  We were able to swim a few times and met family and friends
who were renting one of the cabins on the beach.

  We did find that
during warmer weather the bugs do come out.  Remember your bug
sprays.  Additionally, if you camp with a dog check them regularly for
ticks, they were out in force.

  Patrols by ranges
were plentiful.  We saw them driving around almost  the park 24
hours a day. New this year the rangers patrolled in vehicles, in golf carts,
  on an ATV and bicycles.

  We enjoyed this
park and plan to return again.

  Handicapped Availability:

  None noted.
