Comments:
  This
was our forth trip to Tuckahoe.  We quickly discovered that our chart of the best campsites
was no longer any good.  During the winter the park service ahs upgraded
all sites in the original camping loop to electric sites.  The loop that
was formerly for youth groups has now been divided up and has individual non
  electric sites.

  All sites in both
loops have been refurbished with new crushed rock camping beds.

  Very quiet this
weekend, only 7 other campers in the park.

  We lost an hour
  as daylight savings started .

  Handicapped Availability:

  None noted.
All sites are gravel/dirt and are not level leading to the road. The bath
house is in the middle of the campground with uneven dirt paths leading up to
it from all but 1 side.  On this side it is the access road for service
vehicles, but would probably suffice for a wheelchair.  Sites 4, 6 &
7 are the closest to this road.
