Comments:

This was our fifth  trip to Tuckahoe due to it being close for quick weekend trips.  I quickly discovered why it was so easy to get a reservation, it was HOT!  Close to 100 during the day, cooling to around 80 at night.  Boy, I am glad we have the AC.

Well, with this trip it appears that we have a new addition to the family.  Apparently someone abandoned a small cat (kitten) in the campground.  Even with Natasha he wasNatasha&Shadow2.jpg (54361 bytes) very friendly.  Natasha was not very happy at first, but she doesn't pay the bills.  The photo to the right shows that Natasha has come to love our new addition!

Very quiet this weekend, only 8 other campers in the park.

Handicapped Availability:

None noted.  All sites are gravel/dirt and are not level leading to the road. The bath house is in the middle of the campground with uneven dirt paths leading up to it from all but 1 side.  On this side it is the access road for service vehicles, but would probably suffice for a wheelchair.  Sites 4, 6 & 7 are the closest to this road.
